STEP ONE The patented Installation Tool screws on to the end of any standard paint roller extension handle. The extension pole included with the complete L & Jay's Ceiling and Wall Set #1 extends up to five (5) feet, allowing an adult to reach up to a 12 foot ceiling. Higher ceiling frames may be accessed by purchasing a longer extension pole. The hanger that slides into the groove on the Installation Tool is easily replaceable and may slide out of the Installation Tool groove if an excessively heavy display is hung. Additional hangers are available at no cost.

STEP 2:
Hold the "J" Hook above the Installation Tool and slide the closed side (back) of the "J" Hook into the groove of the Installation Tool opposite from the hanger. Properly installed the hook looks like a "J" attached to the tool.

STEP 3:
With the "J" Hook secured in the Installation Tool, use the extension pole to raise the "J" Hook to the desired place on the ceiling frame. Slide the top slot of the "J" Hook over the front edge of the ceiling frame. Apply slight pressure to the middle of the extension pole to expand the Hook; tilt the bottom of the pole backward and push up slightly and slide the back of the "J" Hook over the back of the ceiling frame. Remove the hook by aligning the groove on the installation tool with the back of the "J" Hook, push up to insert the hook into the tool, apply slight backward pressure on the pole to release the back of the hook from the frame, bring pole to a perpendicular position with the frame and twist the front of the hook off the frame.

STEP 4:
To hang paper displays from the "J" Hook, attach a line (string, ribbon, cord, etc) connecting the O-Ring and the Paper Clip. Hole punch the display to be hung and attach the Clip. Place the O-Ring on the Installation Tool Hanger and use the extension pole to raise the display to the ceiling and slide the O-Ring over the ceiling hook. For other mobiles, tie the line from the "O" Ring directly to the mobile to be hung.
