 | STEP 1:
The patented Installation Tool (IT) has 'universal threads' which means that it will screw on to any paint roller or mop handle. The Extension Pole included with the complete HangUmUpEZ's Ceiling and Wall Set #1 extends up to five (5) feet, allowing an adult to reach up to a 12 foot ceiling. Higher ceiling frames may be accessed by using a longer extension pole. |

STEP 2:
Hold the "J" Hook above the Installation Tool and slide the closed side (back) of the "J" Hook into the groove of the Installation Tool opposite from the hanger. Properly installed the hook looks like a "J" attached to the tool.

STEP 3:
With the "J" Hook secured in the Installation Tool, use the extension pole to raise the "J" Hook to the desired place on the ceiling frame. As you observe the hook one side is slightly higher than the other. Slide the highest slot of the "J" Hook over the front edge of the ceiling frame. This hook will fit all sizes and thicknesses of ceiling frames so apply slight pressure to the middle of the extension pole to expand the Hook. Next, tilt the bottom of the pole backward and push up slightly and slide the back of the "J" Hook over the other side of the ceiling frame. Congratulations, you've done it without climbing! The hook can be easily removed by sliding the groove on the installation tool back into the "J" Hook and appling a small amount of pressure to the middle of the pole to release the back of the hook from the frame. Twist the pole to the right or left and the "J" Hook will rotate off the frame.

 | STEP 4:
To hang visual aids from the "J" Hook, attach a line (string, ribbon, cord, etc) connecting the O-Ring and the Paper Clip. Hole punch the display to be hung, if it is laminated, and attach the Paper Clip. Hole punching isn't usually necessary if hanging paper that hasn't been laminated. Place the O-Ring on the Installation Tool Hanger and use the extension pole to raise the display to the ceiling and slide the O-Ring over the ceiling hook. Of course you can also tie the line from the "O" Ring directly to the visual if you don't want to use the paper clip. |
